Fire-cooked food sizzling over open flame at Ruck & Coal Kitchen

Good Food Doing Good.

Fire-cooked food, locally sourced, served with pride. Find us in the valleys every Friday and Saturday.

Ruck & Coal Kitchen started because we got fed up waiting for opportunities to appear and decided to create our own. We're a family business — a dad and his two boys — built around proper food, local suppliers, and the belief that everyone deserves a chance to prove what they can do.

We cook over fire because food tastes better that way. We source locally because supporting local businesses matters. And we always have something on the menu for everyone — including a plant-based option.

Anything left at the end of the night goes to the food bank.

“No gimmicks. No tiny portions on bits of slate. Just good food, cooked with care.”
